Elizabeth Woman Ejected, Killed In South Jersey Turnpike Crash: Police A 45-year-old woman was killed when she was ejected from a vehicle she was riding in, in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at 7:15 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway in Westampton, where the driver of a Chevrolet lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the right, traveled down an embankment and subsequently overturned, Trooper Troy McNair said.
