Drug Raid: $15M In Heroin, Fentanyl, Coke Seized; Elizabeth Man Arrested, Cops Say A drug raid spanning several New Jersey towns turned up a stash of drugs — including heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine — with a street value of more than $15 million, and netted multiple arrests, police said. Acting on court-ordered search warrants, the raids were conducted Thursday, Nov. 16 following a months-long investigation in Hoboken, Jersey City, Elizabeth, and Montclair, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Man Arrested Following Backyard Foot Pursuit: Linden PD A 21-year-old man was arrested after a foot chase through backyards in Linden on Tuesday, August 8, authorities said. At noon, police responded to the 200 block of Grand St. and learned Kyeshon Downer pointed at a rifle at another man and was still inside the home with a small child, officers said. Police surrounded the home and Union County S.W.A.T. was dispatched to the scene, officers said. Police determined Downer had fled the home and were able to remove the child, officers said. SWAT Team Helps Capture Gunman Wanted In Bar Shooting, 2nd Suspect At Large: Linden PD The Union County SWAT Team helped in capture a 27-year-old man accused of opening fire at a nightclub and wounding three people, while a second suspect remains at large, authorities said. Najir Paige got into a fight at the bar at Menga Lounge in Linden when he left, got a handgun from a car, came back and fired shots through the front door around 2 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, Linden police said. A 28-year-old man, 24-year-old woman and 23-year-old woman were injured in the attack.
