Couple Opens Westfield Mediterranean Restaurant
The married owners of an Indian restaurant in Westfield are opening a Mediterranean eatery right down the street. Kanika Bakshi and Simran Bakshi are opening La'Vash on Quimby Street, where their other restaurant Spice Bazaar was before it moved to Elm Street. The restaurant will open at the end of October. At Spice Bazaar's New Spot In Westfield, The Chefs Will Put On A Show
Spice Bazaar, the popular Westfield Indian restaurant, will open at its new location June 10 -- with a twist. Guests at the new site, at 39 Elm St., will see the eatery’s chefs prepare dishes tableside for what owners Simran Bakshi and Kanika Vij-Bakshi will be an “interactive” experience.
