Pair Facing Murder Charges In Elizabeth Homicide Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal Elizabeth shooting last spring, authorities announced. Leonard Ellison, 36, and Shawn Gilford, 41, were both charged with first-degree murder and three related weapons offenses for the killing of 42-year-old Robert Owens, Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo and Elizabeth Police Department Chief Giacomo Sacca and Director Earl Graves said. Elizabeth police responded to 3rd and Livingston streets where they found Owens with a gunshot wound, said Union County Assistant Prosecutor Julie Peterman, who is prosecuting the case.&…

$10,000 Reward Offered In Fatal Elizabeth Shooting A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can help lead to an arrest and indictment regarding a fatal Elizabeth shooting. Robert Owens, 42, died after being found by police with multiple gunshot wounds near 3rd Street and Broadway last Monday, Acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo said.
