Some Unhappy With Cranford's Decision To Hold Fireworks On July 2 Cranford officials said Monday that the township is pushing back the date of its annual 4th of July fireworks display to ease the burden on first-responders spread thin providing services during the increasingly popular event.  In a letter written on behalf of Cranford's fire, police and parks and rec departments, as well as the office of emergency management,  Chief of Police Ryan Greco said providing coverage for the annual event at Nomahegan Park has grown more challenging.  Not everyone is happy with the decision, however.
