Former Noches De Colombia Owner Brings New Restaurant To Bergen's Dining Scene: Report The former owner of popular North Jersey restaurant chain Noches de Colombia is bringing a new concept to the area. Colombia Kaliente, helmed by Sebastian Colorado, is expected to open this summer in Englewood, NorthJersey.com reports.  The city's Planning Board approved the 4,497-square-foot, 192-seat restaurant last March. ‘I’ll Kill Us All Right Now’: Swerving NJ Turnpike Driver Charged With Child Endangerment A Brooklyn man who got into an argument with his girlfriend at a South Hackensack restaurant was charged with child endangerment and making terroristic threats following a frightening incident on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Joseph A. Hidalgo, 31, and the woman apparently got into an argument in front of their 3-year-old son at Noches de Colombia on Route 46 this past Sunday. Third Alarm Fire Rips Through Noches De Colombia In Secaucus Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze that broke out Thursday afternoon at Noches de Colombia in Secaucus. The fire broke out around 4:45 p.m. in the kitchen of the Paterson Plank Road restaurant, reports show. Smoke billowed from the rear of the building as firefighters from Lyndhurst, Kearny and Secaucus battled the flames. The blaze was under control approximately an hour later. The area was closed for several hours for investigation and no injuries were reported. Noches de Colombia was closed on Friday.
