Woman Killed In Weekend Linden Wreck That Injured 4 Was 'Angel In Human Form' A 24-year-old Elizabeth woman died and four others were injured in a Linden crash early Sunday morning. Nathalie Badilla-Zavala and a 27-year-old Rahway man were ejected from a 2014 Honda Civic on the northern side of the North Park Avenue bridge between E. Elizabeth Avenue and E. Linden Avenue around 3:35 a.m., Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said. Both were taken to Newark University Hospital, where the woman died and the man was critical hours after the crash, police said. Authorities: Linden Police Bust Roselle Man With Illegal Loaded Handgun A Roselle man was jailed after Linden police officers found him with a loaded handgun over the weekend, authorities said Tuesday. Officers responding to reports of a man with a gun stopped Corey Milligan, 51,  on Roselle Street around 2:50 a.m. Saturday, Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said. Police recovered the semi-automatic gun a loaded with a large-capacity magazine, and arrested Milligan without incident, Guenther said. He was remanded to the Union County Jail pending a scheduled appearance in Superior Court.

Linden Man Struck By Jeep While Crossing Street A Linden man was taken to the hospital Friday evening after being struck by an SUV, authorities said. The 59-year-old man was crossing the street when he was struck by a 2020 Jeep Cherokee that was heading south on N. Stiles Street around 5:45 p.m., Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said. The victim was transported to Newark University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, 27-year-old Linden man, was not injured in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau, and anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact …
