: 2 Girls Airlifted After Tree Limb Smashes Through Tour Bus At NJ/NY State Line
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Two teens were airlifted to New Jersey trauma centers after a charter bus filled with girls from a Brooklyn yeshiva crashed into a tree Tuesday afternoon barely a quarter mile from the New York State line. West Milford firefighters extricated the two critically injured victims following the 3:16 p.m. June 4 crash on East Shore Road alongside Greenwood Lake in Hewitt, responders at the scene told Daily Voice. A college student from Bergen County was jailed in New York State after authorities said he phoned in a bogus gun threat to a New Jersey high school. Hudson County HS Student, 17, Charged With Sex Crimes Against Female Classmate: Prosecutor
A 17-year-old male student was charged with criminal sexual contact following two incidents involving a female classmate at a Hudson County high school, authorities announced Tuesday. The unnamed teen was charged Monday after an investigation opened Jan. 18 by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit revealed two separate incidents that occurred inside the building during the school year, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Malfunctioning Emergency System Locks Down NJ School, Brings SWAT Team
This was not the day for a school lockdown alarm to malfunction. Three high school students at a regional Essex County school tested positive for COVID-19. The West Essex Regional School District has transitioned back to remote learning, NorthJersey.com reports citing an email to parents. The district includes students from Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell and Roseland. Remote learning will begin Monday, Oct. 12, and end Oct. 18, the email said. Police: Another Swastika Found At Glen Rock School
Another swastika was found Thursday at a Glen Rock school, the second such incident in a week and a half, authorities said. This time, a teacher found it etched into a classroom wall at the high school, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. "Officers responded and photographed the area," Ackermann said.
