A dashboard cam operated by another driver captured the 4:28 p.m. crash, said Sgt. Todd A. Griffith, the officer in charge of the department. Driver, 37, Killed Head-On By Truck That Crossed Barrier On I-78 In Hunterdon County, Njsp Says A 37-year-old New Brunswick man was struck and killed by the driver of a pick-up truck who crossed over the concrete barrier of I-78 in Hunterdon County, authorities said. A Nissan Rogue was headed eastbound when a westbound Ford F-250  drove over the barrier and struck him in Bethlehem Township Wednesday evening, New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said. The trailer being towed by the pick-up became unhitched and overturned across the westbound lanes, according to the trooper. Carlstadt Ambulance Patient Picked Up By Hasbrouck Heights EMTs After Crash A Carlstadt ambulance transporting a patient struck the mirror of a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon in Hasbrouck Heights, requiring another rig. The 41-year-old Maywood driver of a Ford F-250 was headed north on Terrace Avenue near Kipp Avenue when the ambulance came up behind shortly before 4:30 p.m., Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri Jr. said. The Ford, which has large mirrors, “didn’t pull over completely,” Colaneri said.
