Man Dies In 'Tragic Incident' On Grounds Of NJ High School: Officials
A community member died in what officials are calling a "tragic incident" on the grounds of a New Jersey school district on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Police responding to Highland Park High School around 6:25 a.m. found an unresponsive male, local police said. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was pronounce dead. Former Roseland Police Chief Dies At 91: 'Loss Will Be Felt Throughout Community'
Walter Critchett, who served the Roseland community as a police officer and later police chief for 40 years, died at the age of 91, the borough announced. After serving in the Navy, Critchett joined the Roseland Police Department in 1956. A well-known dance teacher died in an Elizabeth house fire Tuesday, authorities announced.
