Suspect In Daytime Elizabeth Shooting Arrested
An Elizabeth man has been charged with shooting another man on a city street Monday morning, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. Police were called to the 400 block of Irvington Avenue around 8:45 a.m. and found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was listed in stable condition following emergency surgery. Cecil Z. Lebron, 38, allegedly approached the victim in a parking lot as he was getting out of a car, shoved him, then pulled a .40 caliber handgun and shot the victim.
