Man Hospitalized After Hit, Run Crash In Elizabeth: Authorities

A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Elizabeth on Thursday morning, March 15, authorities said.

The man was struck by the car at East Jersey and Spring Street, Ruby Contreras, public information officer for the city, said. The vehicle fled the scene, Contreras said. Multiple lanes are shut down, Contreras said.

The man's condition is unknown, Contreras said.
