Pascack Valley, Hills High Schools Remove Racist Mascots Two Bergen County sports teams are no longer named the Cowboys and Indians. The Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education voted unanimously to remove the nicknames and logos during Monday's virtual meeting. The teams will be assigned new names in a “thoughtful and expeditious manner," according to the PHHS student newspaper. Hudson Youngsters OK After Party Yacht Bumps Another In Hoboken No serious injuries were reported after a dinner cruise yacht with nearly 100 Weehawken High School prom-goers and chaperones aboard bumped a smaller unoccupied boat from behind Thursday at a Hudson River pier in Hoboken, responders said. Dozens of minor cuts, scrapes and other injuries were reported after the 210-foot Cornicopia Destiny rear-ended the docked 117-foot Sundancer at the 14th Street pier.
