Bergen Tech Students Make Donated Humvee Street Legal For Hackensack Police Department Doing their part for public safety, a group of students in the Bergen County Technical School Basic Auto Body Class helped convert a donated Humvee to join the Hackensack Police Department’s fleet. The vehicles are used for high-water rescues in the city – which have been happening more frequently with the increased rainfall this year.
