Neeta Varshney, a STEM Supervisor at Clark Public Schools was on "Wheel Of Fortune" last week, though her appearance left viewers fuming at host Pat Sajak. While playing "Toss Up", Varshey attempted to solve the puzzle and guessed "an a moment's notice." Sajak ruled her incorrect. The New Jersey Department of Education released its list of top 21 teachers in the state. One teacher from each county was selected as a finalist for the department's Teacher of the Year award. The teachers demonstrate "exemplary" educational leadership qualities seen in New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy said. A panel of educators will select the Teacher of the Year in October. Fair Lawn Sisters From Family Of Educators Are Both 'Teachers Of The Year'
FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Two sisters from Fair Lawn were both named "Teacher of the Year" in New Jersey. Kelly Braff, 29, teaches Kindergarten at the Radburn Elementary School. Her sister, 27-year-old Tracy Osback, teaches first grade in Guttenberg. Kelly was the first of the two to discover she earned this year's award (representing the Radburn School).
