He was known in many circles as a "cop's lawyer," but Bob Galantucci represented countless other clients on the other side of the law, as well. Robert L. Galantucci, 76, a founding partner of the Galantucci and Patuto law firm in Hackensack -- and a former Bergen County assistant prosecutor -- died Friday surrounded by family at his home in Spring Lake. Toms River Man Drowns In Bay
A 64-year-old Toms River man drowned in an area bay last week, authorities said. Wayne Brotsky was fighting to stay afloat in Mariner's Cove at the end of Kettle Creek before he went under and disappeared around 6:10 p.m. Aug. 19, local police said. Silverton Fire Chief Robert Sinnott was first on scene and jumped in the water. Toms River Officer Michael Hader, and Silverton Fire Company firefighters Keegan Shevlin, Rich Foster, and Dave McElwain also jumped in the water to search for Brotsky. Jersey Shore Mom Dies In Labor With First Child
Point Pleasant High School graduate Maggie Gilbert died on Feb. 13, of complications following of an emergency C-section with her firstborn son. She was 31 years old. More than $28,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe as of Wednesday for her newborn boy Aiden Patrick, and husband, Ryan Gilbert.
