𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 63-year-old hiker from Wayne who'd gone missing in Ringwood State Park was found a few miles away the next day across the state line in Rockland County, authorities said. Search For Missing Person Ends Tragically Near NJ Mountain
The search for a missing person ended tragically when their body was found near a New Jersey mountain, authorities said. The person, whose name is being withheld, was last seen on Friday, Aug. 18, according to Hopewell Township and Pennington Borough police. The body of missing Princeton University student Misrach Ewunetie was found the afternoon on Thursday, Oct. 20, authorities have confirmed. Her body was found on the facility grounds behind the tennis courts around 1 p.m., according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Skeletal remains found in Waterford Township were identified as Cherry Hill missing person Peter Myers, authorities said. Myers, 68, was reported missing to the Cherry Hill Police Department by family members on June 7. A giant whale skull washed up on the Jersey Shore Monday. New Jersey State Park Police found the remains near A2 beach access path of Island Beach State Park in Ocean County after the storm. Officials determined the bones comprised the ventral (lower) jaw and skull of a Minke whale.
