Body Of Missing Man Walking Dog Recovered From Frozen NJ Lake: Police A New Jersey man was found dead in a frozen lake in Millstone Township after state troopers rescued his stranded dog, authorities said. Troopers responded to Millstone Park in Monmouth County on Friday, Feb. 21, at 4:46 p.m. after receiving a report of a dog stuck on the ice, Sgt. Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police said. Troopers and the Millstone Fire Department were able to rescue the dog, but as they examined the scene, they noticed footprints leading onto the lake, a jacket and hat near the ice, and a fresh break in the surface, officials said.
