UPDATE: A commuter bus and four other vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash that jammed rush-hour traffic into and out of the Lincoln Tunnel. The inbound bus was headed east toward the inbound tunnel in the specially designated lane on the westbound side of Route 495 when the crash occurred in Union City between the Kennedy Boulevard and Bergenline Avenue underpasses around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Port Authority said. NY Waterway Rolls Out Free Shuttle Bus Services From Edgewater, Fort Lee To Port Imperial
NY Waterway has rolled out a free weekday shuttle bus service. The bus will run between Edgewater and the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal in Weehawken, where ferry customers can connect with direct ferries to Midtown and Downtown Manhattan, the NY Waterway announced. The bus service is a temporary measure prior to relaunching ferry service from Edgewater. Manhattan IT Company Owner From Leonia Charged With Raping Palisades Park Woman
The Leonia owner of a midtown Manhattan IT company was charged with raping an incapacitated woman from Palisades Park. Euiseok Lee, 51, sexually assaulted the woman, who physically unable to prevent the attack, in the early morning hours Monday, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said. NYC Bus Terminal Re-Opened After Hour-Long Lockdown
The Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan was reopened following a lockdown Wednesday morning after a suspicious white powder was found. The terminal desk "received a report of an unknown white substance on the floor in the south wing" just after 9 a.m., the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.
