NJ Man Recovers From Venomous Snake Bite A 21-year-old New Jersey man is recovering at home after he was bit by a copperhead snake, landing him in the hospital for three days. Kevin Murray of Pennington tells Daily Voice he was two minutes from his car on the way back from a sunset hike at Baldpate Mountain in Titusville when he felt a stinging sensation in his left ankle on Aug. 5. Nia Franklin was crowned Miss America 2019 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Miss Connecticut was first runner up. The 19-year-old contemporary jazz dancer is a sophomore at Loyola University Maryland.  She danced to Aretha Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" during the first talent competition, and advocated for food allergy awareness.  This was the first year that the contest took place without a swimsuit competition…
