Clifton Detective Breaks Foot Chasing Immigrant Wanted By ICE A Clifton detective broke his foot chasing a man who, it turned out, was wanted by ICE, authorities said. Investigators and uniformed officers who joined them found the man hiding in the rafters of a shed after a lengthy pursuit that began in the area of Hope and Highland avenues last Wednesday, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. He’d bolted after the detectives tried to talk with him, then struggled while being taken into custody, Bracken said.
