Staten Island Motorcyclist, 27, Killed In Route 287 Crash
A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Staten Island died in a weekend crash on Route 287 in Somerset County, authorities said. Durmish Golesh was heading north on a Kawasaki when he rear-ended a Hyundai, overturned, and struck the back of an Infiniti around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Far Hills, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Golesh was thrown from the bike and died, Lebron said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.

Dirt Bike Rider Killed In Jersey Shore Crash With Jeep
Authorities are seeking witnesses of a collision that killed a 40-year-old dirt bike rider in Monmouth County Friday, Oct. 14. Clifford Walton was operating the Kawasaki dirt bike that collided with a Jeep Cherokee on Arlington Avenue and Gordon Street in Aberdeen around 6 p.m., Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said. Walton was rushed to Bayshore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6:45 p.m. The driver of the SUV, 34, remained on the scene and was not seriously injured. 'The Realest': NJ Motorcyclist, 27, Killed After Being Struck By Elderly Driver, Police Say
A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a South Jersey crash on Friday, authorities said. Brandon Agron was heading north on a Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 206 near Amboy Road when he was struck from behind by a 2016 Kia Sedan around 9:45 p.m., Bordentown Township police said. Agron, of Jobstown, was pronounced dead at the scene while the Kia driver -- John Tozzi -- 82, of Hamilton -- was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. Agron sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision and was declared deceased at the scene. Condolences poured in for Agron. …

Englewood Motorcyclist, 50, Killed In Turnpike Ramp Crash
A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Englewood was killed in a crash on Route 278 in Union County over the weekend, state police said. Shawn Palmer was on the Route 278 ramp to the NJ Turnpike when he struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the road around 7 p.m. Saturday, Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. Palmer was ejected from his Kawasaki and fell from the elevated roadway onto a portion of Route 278, and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The motorcycle hit a GMC box truck, Goez said. The truck driver was uninjured, the trooper said.

Nicholas J. McIlwrath of Wayne died Wednesday, May 23. He was 29 years old. Nicholas was born in Pequannock and raised in Wayne where he attended Wayne Valley High School. He played baseball through the youth programs at Wayne PAL, his father one of his coaches. He could switch hit at bat and could play multiple positions including catcher, shortstop and pitcher in the field. Prospect Park PD: Teens Arrange Separate 'Sale' Meetings, Swipe 3 Dirtbikes
PROSPECT PARK, N.J. – Aided by cellphone video, Prospect Park police tracked down two teens who they said arranged meetings to buy dirt bikes from three different owners – then stole them. Ameir Logan, 18, was working on one of the stolen bikes in front of his Paterson home when Detective Walter Richmond and Officer Arthur Canestrino rolled up on him, authorities said.
