A Wayne police car was rammed during a quick-strike takedown of a local trio’s drug-dealing operation from a residence in a mobile home community, authorities said. A tipster pointed authorities to the Fourth Street home of Tyler J. Simmons, 27, and Savannah L. Sommer, 26, in Finn’s Mobile Home Park, Police Chief Jack McNiff said. Human Fetus Found In North Jersey Homeowner's Basement: Prosecutor
North Jersey homeowners found a human fetus in a storage container in their basement Mother's Day, authorities said. Wayne police officers were called to the local home around 5:45 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Chief Jack McNiff said. A Paterson woman waiting to meet someone in the lobby of the Wayne police station was busted by a keen-eyed dispatcher stealing more than $155 worth of toys from the "Toys for Tots" donation bin. Rasha Elsayed was captured on security cameras exiting the lobby to the corridor of the Town Hall and remove 10 different toys from the bins on Friday, Dec. 3 around 5 p.m., Police Chief Jack McNiff said. A parolee accused of firing a gun at three people outside Mother’s Ale House in Wayne last month had help, authorities said.
