Teaneck's Patricia Ann Simmons, 65, Dies Scuba Diving In Florida

Patricia Ann Simmons (nee) Ferraro of Teaneck died Aug. 3 while scuba diving in Florida. She was 65 years old.

Formerly of Mamaroneck, N.Y., Simmons was a registered nurse for 44 years and retired in 2016. She worked at the ECCR in Wyckoff for 34 years.

She was an avid scuba diver and loved to travel the islands. She considered herself a die-hard Yankee & Rangers fan, was well-known for her meatballs and lasagna and loved to cook "to feed an army."

Visitation will be Wednesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home in Teaneck.

Services will be at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Patricia's name can be made to the ECCR, 700 Mountain Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
