, Friedman is operating a medical day spa there that specializes in skin care.
“I think [my clients] will benefit very much because they’re mostly young women with tattoos looking for tattoo or hair removal,” said Joseph, who uses laser machines for skincare treatments. “They’re also interested in the services that Miriam provides.”
Friedman offers facials, microdermabrasion treatments, chemical peels and “anything to do with skin health....It’s all about treating skin in the most professional way.”
She uses Dermologica products to treat fine lines, acne, hyper pigmentation, redness and more.
Makeup is a topical solution for a person's outer beauty, but skin care is what matters most to Friedman.
"People don't realize skin health is one of the top issues, because skin cancer is so prevalent," the aesthetician said.
Whenever Friedman does find reason for concern, she can alert one of three doctors in the practice for their medical opinion.
"The reason why I wanted this so badly is because at a medispa they can afford to get the best tools and equipment," Friedman said. "We have all this to make a difference. Our goal is results."
