Reporter Michael J. Feeney Of Teaneck Dies

TEANECK, N.J. — Former president of the New York Association of Black Journalists and Teaneck native Michael J. Feeney died of complications from a staph infection in his kidneys on Sunday at 32 years old, the Daily News reported.

Feeney was being treated in Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck since Tuesday, and went into cardiac arrest at 1:15 p.m., the article said. 

The former Daily News reporter was slated to begin his "dream job" as an entertainment reporter at CNN.com when he got sick, Daily News said.
