2012 figured to be a great year for Kline, a mom of three from Montclair.

Her long-awaited success came after the launch of "Orphan Train."

Fate cared little for her vision as a best-selling author, though. The years that followed were spent battling cancer and grieving for her mom.

She's hoping her new book, "A Piece of the World," will follow suit. It marks a new beginning for Kline.

The fictional narrative is based on real people's lives and Andrew Wyeth's painting, "Christina's World."

Kline will be at the library on Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m.
