Nicholas Noel, 42, of Breaux Bridge, LA, was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima stopped by Officer Steven Albert for an equipment violation on the northbound on Tuesday, April 18, Capt. Timothy Keenan said. In plain view on the passenger seat was a 9mm Ruger, the captain said. Noel remained held Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance on illegal weapons and ammunition charges in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack. …

Student Revived After Medical Episode At Bergen Middle School An Oakland middle school student was revived following a medical episode in gym class, authorities said. The Valley Middle School nurse was conducting CPR on the 13-year-old boy -- who responders said had a pre-existing medical condition -- when police arrived shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6. "He was breathing on his own at the time he was transported to the hospital," Police Capt. Timothy Keenan said. Responders included Oakland Police Lt. Mark Piercy, Sgt. Stephen Broek and Officers Jacob Martin and Joseph Burns.

Police responding to a report from a concerned family member around 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, found an assault firearm, high-capacity magazines and a silencer at the Raeben Avenue home just off Route 202, Capt.
