Low-Maintenance Closter Dog Was Surrendered By Longtime Family CLOSTER, N.J. -- An 8-year-old Pekingese at CLAWS in Closter is in need of a new home.  Rocco was left at a shelter by his owners who no longer wanted to keep him, so the rescue took him into the group and got him his very own foster home.  He took about a week to adjust and was pretty nervous at first.
