Paterson Pot Dealers Busted, Nine Pounds, $28,000 Seized, Police Say Paterson detectives seized nearly nine pounds of pot in various forms and almost $28,000 in alleged proceeds while arresting three people on drug charges, authorities said. The defendants were dealing out of a home on Wayne Avenue near the corner of Maple Street, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said. Paterson PD Works Both Sides Of Street, Seize Raw Heroin, Cocaine, Shotgun Paterson police raided two homes directly across the street from one another, arresting two ex-cons and five alleged buyers while seizing raw and packaged heroin, cocaine and a sawed-off shotgun. Members of the Paterson Narcotics Division also seized $568 in suspected proceeds during the simultaneous Monday afternoon strikes, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
