Retired Passaic Valley High School Vice Principal Needs Kidney Donor
Former Passaic Valley High School Vice Principal and Athletic Director Nick Sauter is in need of an organ donor after years of suffering from kidney failure. The Little Falls resident had been receiving dialysis treatments since January 2017. In May of that year, he contracted a blood infection that spread to his 21-year-old knee replacement. Due to consequent surgeries, the kidney transplant was put on hold. It's back on -- with a vengeance -- administered by his sister-in-law, Donna Tissot.
