Nervous Robbery Suspects In Speeding Car Had 2 Loaded Handguns, Police In Essex County Say A motor vehicle stop of a speeding vehicle without front plates in Essex County turned up two loaded handguns -- one of which was stolen, authorities said. Detectives from the Orange Street Crimes Gang and Narcotics Task Force were on crime prevention patrols near White and Cleveland streets Dec. 17, when they saw the car heading south on Cleveland, police said. Prosecutor: 1,400 Wax Folds Of Heroin, ~$16,700, Firearm Seized In Jersey Shore Drug Bust Four New Jersey residents were arrested for distributing heroin, fentanyl and cocaine following an investigation involving nearly a dozen law enforcement agencies, authorities said Thursday. Kevin Collins, 37, and Daysha Kelly, 35, operated out of a Pine Beach home, while Elex Hyman, 49, and Jamie Steen, 38, used a Lakewood home, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Elizabeth Man Arrested In Essex County Burglaries An Elizabeth man wanted for a pair of burglaries in Essex County was arrested in a motor vehicle stop, authorities said. Sean Crotty, 37, was taken into custody May 28 -- six days after breaking into a pizzeria on Washington Street in Bloomfield, Public Safety Director Sam DeMaio said. Crotty had also been wanted on similar charges out of Livingston, DeMaio said. Livingston police did not immediately return Daily Voice's request for details on that incident.
