Bourdain, Donovan Among North Jersey Residents Nominated For NJ Hall Of Fame Chris Rock, Anthony Bourdain and Anne Donovan are among the many North Jersey natives nominated for the New Jersey Hall of Fame's 11th class. The organization announced its list of 50 nominees Friday. Inductees will be announced in January 2019. The five categories are Arts & Letters, Enterprise, Performing Arts, Public Service and Sports. Ridgewood Funeral Service Set For Olympic Legend Anne Donovan Arrangements have been set for Ridgewood native Anne Donovan, a Hall of Fame basketball star who won Olympic gold medals as both player and coach. Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood on June 28. A public celebration of Donovan's life will be held at Paramus Catholic High School on Saturday, June 30 beginning at 3 p.m.  Donovan died suddenly on June 13. Olympic Legend Anne Donovan Of Ridgewood Dead At 56 Anne Donovan, a Ridgewood native and legendary figure in women's basketball, died Wednesday of heart failure. She was 56. "While it is extremely difficult to express how devastating it is to lose Anne, our family remains so very grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful human being," Donovan's family said in a statement.  "Anne touched many lives as a daughter, sister, aunt, friend and coach.
