Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Man For 'Possessing, Promoting' Child Porn A 50-year-old man has been sent to jail without bail after a month-long investigation led to his arrest on charges of possessing and promoting obscene sexual performance by a child, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. said. Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s office, armed with a search warrant, conducted a search of the Putnam Valley home of Alex Amoroso and seized multiple electronic devices on April 19. Sears Plans To Close 63 Stores Click here for an updated story: Full List Of New Round Of Sears, Kmart Closures Announced Sears has announced another round of store closures as sales continue to decline. Sears Holdings Corp., which also owns Kmart, said in an earnings statement Thursday it plans to close 63 of about 100 nonprofitable stores. Active Hurricane Season Predicted By NOAA With the start of hurricane season just a day away, there is a 75-percent chance that the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season will be near- or above-normal, according to a new report released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Climate Prediction Center. Ex-Pleasant Valley Town Clerk Ordered To Pay $27K In Larceny Case The former Pleasant Valley Town Clerk who was charged with grand larceny for stealing funds over a four-year time period entered into a plea agreement on Wednesday in Westchester County Court, according to Dutchess County District Attorney William Grady. Traffic Stop Nabs Man, Woman Driving Stolen Vehicle In Northern Westchester A 20-something man and woman are both behind bars after they were caught driving a stolen vehicle in Northern Westchester, state police said. Troopers pulled over a 2007 Volkswagen on Main Street in Cortlandt on Monday, May 21 due to a notification that the vehicle was stolen. Patrick S. McCullough, 25, and Diana R. Woman Stabs Victim During Altercation At Fairfield County Hotel, Police Say A 26-year-old stabbed another woman during an altercation at a Quality Inn in Fairfield County, police said. The altercation at the hotel on South Avenue in Stratford on Tuesday involved Bridgeport resident Ashley Jackson and another female who attended a party at the location, Stratford Police said.
