Learn To Skate Program At Wayne Township Parks And Rec

WAYNE, N.J. – The Wayne Township Parks And Recreation Department is taking registration for a nine-week "Learn To Skate" program from Monday, Jan. 4 through Saturday, March 19.

Classes are for kindergartners through eighth-graders, with half-hour classes set for Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. A half-hour free skate follows each session.

Registration is $142, not including skate rental ($3 per session, with discount cards available)

Students will be placed in classes by age group and ability, and protective helmets, comfortable warm clothing, socks covering the ankle and gloves are recommended for all ages.

The deadline for registration is Friday, Dec. 28, and can be done through the Wayne Township website.
