Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox said help from those at the Christian Health Care Center helped Detective Sgts. Joseph Soto and Michael Musto “uncover the person responsible.”

Joyce D. King, 40, is charged with six counts of theft.

King, a nurse’s assistant, took six checks from five different residents at the Wyckoff center, part of a large network of facilities operated by the non-profit CHCC, founded in 1911 by a group of deacons from local reformed churches.

King was released on a summonses and her case referred to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for grand jury action.
