Westbound Route 80 In Paterson Closed After Tractor-Trailer Jackknifes

PATERSON, N.J. -- Just what the oncoming Tuesday evening rush-hour traffic needed: A jack-knifed tractor-trailer closed westbound Route 80 in Paterson just after the Market Street exit.

An eastbound crash occurred moments later.

"Rush-hour traffic hasn't even started yet and it's backed up pretty good," PJ Conklin of Butler said just after 2:30 p.m. "Just saw an accident on eastbound, as well.

"Be careful out there," the Oakland native added. "The roads are horrible."
