Wayne Police Decorate Colleague With Cancer's Home For Holidays

WAYNE, N.J. -- A Wayne police officer battling cancer got his house decorated for Christmas, thanks to his brothers and sisters in blue.

Wayne police colleagues used the company “Christmas Décor” to decorate Detective Eric Jay Clemente's home.

Detective Eric Jason Clemente, who was also the department's inspiration for this year's "No Shave November" fundraiser, has gained the respect of colleagues and others through his "strong spirit and resolve," Capt. Laurence Martin said.

"The department and the unions wanted to provide him with some sort of gift for the holidays," he said.
