Jasmine Cobb, 30, of Newark snatched 16 items while "wandering the store" at the Willowbrook Mall late Thursday, Capt. Laurence Martin said.

Officers who detained her also found her carrying the Cheetah brand weapon, he said.

Cobb, who was taken into custody, was already wanted on a warrant out of Wayne, as well as three out of Elizabeth and one each out of Tinton Falls and East Hanover, the captain said.

She was processed, issued a complaint summons for Thursday's incident -- charging her with shoplifting and weapons possession -- and turned over to Passaic County sheriff's officers for detention in the county jail because of the warrants, he said.
