Mark Simon was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct and given a court date after Tuesday night's incident, Capt. Lawrence Martin said.
Officers John Barrows, Thomas Kartanowicz and Robert Franciose of the Warrant Squad responded to Tanager Court tried to calm Simon down with no success, Martin said.
"Dallas, Dallas, Dallas, police brutlity, Dallas, police brutality," he shouted, the captain said.
Simon then refused to answer any questions and shouted: "You are here to protect and serve and I will ask the questions,” he said.
He also repeated "Dallas, Dallas," while cursing the officers, Martin said.
As they took him into custody, Simon "threatened to murder Officers Barrows, Kartanowicz and Franciose when he was released and take care of their families and children after he had killed the officers," the captain said.
At police headquarters, he "continued to act out agitated and threatening," he said.
After processing him, officers took Martin to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and observation, Martin said.
