Jamel I. Palmer, 25, was being held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with drug distribution.

The undercover officer made the first buy, of 100 bags, a week ago, Molinelli said. The second buy, on Monday, produced 300 bags, he said.

Both were in Elmwood Park, the prosecutor said.

Palmer, who is single and unemployed, was arrested during a scheduled third buy on Tuesday, also in Elmwood Park, he said.

Molinelli credited members of his Narcotics Task Force, along with Elmwood Park and River Edge police and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.
