Vincent Barbarino, 30, of Bogota was charged with drug possession — for what Police Chief Michael Foligno said was a vial of cocaine, three bags of marijuana and two prescription pills — as well as with possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and hindering his own apprehension by providing false information after he was stopped yesterday afternoon on Market Street.

The arrest was a probation violation for Barbarino, who also owed more than $14,000 in arrears. He was being held on a combined bail of nearly $65,000 in the Bergen County Jail.

Around 11 o’clock last night, officers arrested 26-year-old Andrew Na of Cliffside Park in the parking lot of the Elmwood Shopping Center on Broadway for possession of drug paraphernalia and a hypodermic syringe and for being under the influence of drugs, Foligno said.

Na was released on a court summons, the chief said.
