Officer Jakub Glebocki caught a whiff of marijuana as he approached the 2012 Hyundai Elantra that he’d stopped around 10 p.m. on Prospect Terrace, Capt. John Trainor said.

He then spotted some of the drugs in plain view, the captain said.

Passenger Isaiah Taylor was being held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with various counts of drug possession with distribution intent.

Another passenger and the female driver — who was issued five summonses — were released. Both are also from Paterson, Trainor said.
