State Police sought the public's help finding a man who they said entered Glen Ridge High School and acted suspiciously.

The man shown in the sketch and photo below showed up at the high school around 7:20 a.m. Jan 15 and began asking staff members suspicious questions, the NJSP said.

"During the conversation, he stated that he recently moved to Glen Ridge," State Police wrote in a post. "A short time later, he left the property and got into a newer model black Toyota Highlander."

NJ State Police Detective Sgt. Dennis Cappello used video surveillance and assistance from a witness to create the above sketch.

The suspect was described as white, in his early- to mid-20s with a thin build, some facial hair and eyeglasses.

Anyone who has information that can help find him is asked to contact Glen Ridge Detective Sergeant Manley: (973) 748-5400 ext. 115.

Callers can remain anonymous, State Police said.
