Sedan Ignites In Flames After Rear-Ending SUV On Route 80 In Wayne

WAYNE, N.J. -- No injuries were reported Friday afternoon after a sedan rear-ended an SUV and burst into flames on Route 80 in Wayne.

All of the occupants got out safely and were standing at the divider when responders arrived around 4:30 p.m., witnesses told Daily Voice.

Wayne firefighters and EMS joined New Jersey State Police at the scene, near the exit for Routes 46 and 3, ater the Dodge Neon rammed into the Lexus RX350.

All but one lane was closed while the scene was cleared. Traffic was backed for miles.
