Superior Court Judge Adam E. Jacobs sentenced Santos Granados to consecutive prison terms of 25 years for an aggravated sexual assault conviction and two 4-year sentences for child endangerment.

“Each of the three sentences run consecutive to each other, meaning that [Granados] must complete one sentence before beginning the other two sentences,” Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.

Jurors in February convicted Santos Granados of various counts of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment after hearing from several witnesses, including the victims.

The remaining convictions were merged into the other sentences, she said.

Jacobs also ordered Granados to register under Megan’s Law and remain under parole supervision for life.

Handling the case for the state was Assistant Passaic County Prosecutor Anneris Hernandez.
