Pedestrian, 51, struck outside Paramus Food Market

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Paterson woman who was struck by a car while crossing Paramus Road outside the Paramus Food Market this afternoon was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with leg pains, Paramus Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.

Mary Cadet, 51, was struck just after noon by a 2012 Hyundai Sonata driven by 57-year-old Paramus woman, the chief said.

Cadet “was crossing from the west side of Paramus Road,” while the Hyundai was making a left out of the food center lot, he said.
