Patterson Woman Suffers Injuries During Robbery Attempt

PATERSON, N.J. -- Police said a 46-year-old Paterson woman was beaten with a gun during in a robbery attempt after she left a store in the city Wednesday, according to Blog.NJ.com.

Police said officers called to the scene discovered the woman bleeding near East 28th Street and 10th Avenue, Blog.NJ.com reported.

The woman told police that when she left a store, a man grabbed her arm and asked her for money, then dragged her toward an alley where he beat and kicked her, said Blog.NJ.Com.

The unidentified woman was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, added the blog.
