ONLY ON CVP: A 52-year-old Wendy’s patron was taken to The Valley Hospital with back and side pain after an SUV slammed into the eastbound Route 4 restaurant in Paramus this afternoon.

Another patron refused medical attention after the crash, police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The 20-year-old driver from Passaic was issued a summons for careless driving, police said.

Neither he nor his two passengers were injured, they said.

A preliminary report indicated that no one was hospitalized before all had been evaluated.
