Paterson Man Charged With Murder In Shooting

PATERSON, N.J.-- A Paterson man, Marquis Turner, 19, has been charged with the murder of John Williams, 24, who was shot and killed on July 12, NJ.com has reported.

The suspect was held in connection with a carjacking on Sept. 17 when he was charged with murder, the report says.

Turner was held in connection with a carjacking on Sept. 17 when he was charged by police, the report says.

According to NJ.com, the shooting occurred near the corner of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Warren Street where Williams was found wounded by gunshots. Williams died from his injuries at St. Joseph's Medical Center, where he was taken, the report says.
